Top Foods for Healthy Hair

Before I even begin telling what the best foods are for healthy hair I should inform everyone out there that those supplements teenage girls are taking, you know like the prenatal vitamins, are not good for you! That's right, those type of vitamins actually often times backfire on you and damage your hair more than help it. So watch the intake of those pills and try more safe methods of hair growth.

Top 10 Foods:
1. Salmon. Those omega-3 do wonders for your scalp and if your allergic like me all you need to do is take the omega-3 vitamin everyday. (this one is actually safe)

2. Dark Leafy Greens. Spinach and broccoli produce the natural conditioner sebum for your hair while also producing the natural iron and calcium your body needs.

3. Beans Beans the lovable fruit. It keeps your hair from being so brittle.

4. Nuts. All types provide zinc and many other healthy nutrients for hair.

5. Poultry provide Protein. yum yum, as long as your not vegetarian poultry keeps your hair color bright and strong.

6. Eggs. Enough said.

7. Breakfast Toast and Cereal. Secret tip my mom used to tell me, make sure you eat the crust because that contains the most nutrients for hair growth.

8. Oysters. It contains zinc, so if your not a fan then don't sweat it because the other foods help you out.

9. Low-Fat Dairy Products. The calcium and minerals give your hair better growth and health in the long run.

10. VARIETY!!!! Make sure you aren't just stuck eating one type of food to try and make your health grow. Without a healthy, daily variety your hair will never get any better, in fact, it affects the hair cycle causing hair to grow even less and lose even more shine than before.
