The average person looses around 50 to 100 hairs a day.
80% of Americans wash their hair at least twice a day. (no wonder people get so many hair cuts!)
There are approximately 120000 to 150000 hairs on a person's head.
Hair grows about 1cm per month and about .3mm per day.
Your hair grows faster in warm weather, but humidity stretches your hair.
Cutting hair does not influence it's growth.
Female hair grows slower than males' and their hair is more dense.
Rubbing wet hair is not advised because hair is sensitive.
Hair is the second fastest growing tissue in the body, but many drugs can cause hair loss.
